Welcome the rain (and the ideas)
Look up, here it comes, and we gardeners are sooo glad for it — whether it arrives in buckets or a steady drizzle.
I would like to compare this atmospheric downpour to our community dialogue. Sometimes the air gets heated, with conflicting opinions and perspectives. But our input should be received like the weather. Let’s set up collection barrels for the concerns, needs, ideas and opportunities to connect, listen and understand. I’m hoping that we can all learn from the ways of the waterfowl — be out there, quack away, jump in, get soggy — and let the extra water roll right off!
Just ducky, am I right? Public engagement is indeed for the birds!
