Let’s make Canada great in Trump U.S. style

Ridicule the man down south all you want, but our own leader has many shortcomings

Congratulations on the grand opening of Puppycats Pets Emporium in Chemainus. I wish the new owners every success.

I am sure these hard-working folks have no intention to offend. I’m sure the catnip filled dolls resembling (Donald) Trump and being ‘fired up’ were meant to humour the Trump adverse crowd. However, such products (likely made in China) say it’s OK to humiliate those we disagree with.

Like him or not, Trump is the duly elected president. We share the longest peaceful border and America is our greatest trading partner. If ever invaded, we’d depend on America for defense.

It’s shocking how many Canadians express disdainful knee jerk reaction to Trump. He campaigned on bringing back desperately needed overseas jobs and until now, the U.S. economy was thriving. When America is strong, so is Canada.

The previous administrations, including Clinton and Obama, collaborated with Communist China and for decades most technology, weaponry, even medications are made in China. The Communist regime also exports fentanyl, the most deadly synthetic opioid.

Rather than ridicule Trump, let’s examine our dismal state. Trudeau has no intention to ‘make Canada great again.’ The arrogant globalist views Canada as ‘post national’ and supports the UN Migration Pact for open borders, hence millions of illegal immigrants.

He makes a mockery of parliament by refusing to answer questions. If not for COVID, he’d still be ignoring Canada and spending millions of our tax dollars for his coveted UN seat.

Meanwhile, Trump withheld funds from the deeply corrupt UN and WHO. Pre-election, Trudeau gave 600 million to media, mostly CBC, to tout the liberal party line. This may be routine some countries, but is shocking in Canada.

And his many scandals, such as a law breaking vacation on Aga Khan’s island, 10 million tax dollars to terrorist Khadr, SNC interference and firing two female ministers, caught ‘black faced’ multiple times, meeting Chinese officials who generously donated to the ‘Trudeau Foundation’, buying a pipeline with no intention to build and alienating western provinces.

While Trump wants to keep America thriving, we have a former drama teacher, who adores Castro, admires Communist China and parades as a little dictator. Rather than mocking the leader of our good neighbours, let’s wake up to the erosion of free speech by ‘politically correct’ rhetoric and elect a real leader invested in preserving our democratic Canada and making Canada great, too.

Simone Black,

Duncan
