As a result of B.C Hydro, who have the temerity to tack on to the bills of B.C. residents, 25 cents to each bill, is most certainly an affront to the public’s intelligence.
What kind of society do these B.C. government (hydro) people assume we have that they can do whatever they think that is in the province’s best interest, whether we like it or not? Or how it affects our pocket?
I, and many people who have spoken to me, are most perplexed at this effrontery to the rights of good government and fiscal management, I/we are not amused or presumed to accept this incursion against the rule of law.
That these people need assistance from this government-run business is their affair, and not the public purse’s prevue to rectify, in perpetuity.
My thoughts may be generous, though my purse be wanting. Pensioners such as myself do give when they can (my favourite is the burn unit).
