Kudos to North Cowichan and Chemainus on the redesign and construction of the new Chemainus roadway.
Pleasing design. Great separation of traffic, parking, bikeway and walkers. New lighting will be night sky friendly and the use of swales to collect and help purify water runoff is great. Well done.
Now, maybe Ladysmith would like a friendly competition to see if it can catch up and improve on these bike and environmentally friendly design ideas?
