I wanted to thank you for such a well-written, thoughtful article dealing with our changing weather (News Views, Feb. 21 Chemainus Valley Courier).
With so many people doubting that we are experiencing Global Warming – a.k.a. Climate Change – your article really drove home the reality by highlighting our recent extreme weather patterns, both winter and summer.
Thanks for sharing and for encouraging others to get involved in trying to make a difference. If we all just made a couple of changes to our daily lives, I think we could slow down this dangerous trend.
It is time we all took a look at the negative impact we might be having on our environment and make a change.
For example:
· Could we use a more environmentally way to heat our homes? or
· Could we reduce our carbon footprint by reducing the number of trips we make using our vehicles?
