Notice of Property Disposition (Cowichan Sportsplex) |
Notice is hereby given, that the District of North Cowichan, pursuant to Sections 26 and 94 of the Community Charter, intends to dispose of land by way of a 10-year lease renewal to the Chesterfield Sports Society.
The land to be disposed of is located at 5847 Chesterfield Ave, legally described as Lots 1 & 2, Plan VIP73093 (PIDs 025-208-292 and 025-208-306).
In consideration for the 10-year lease renewal (until May 31, 2033), the Chesterfield Sports Society will pay $1 and agrees to use and maintain the land in accordance with the lease renewal & modification agreement.
North Cowichan’s Chief Administrative Officer will consider the execution of this lease renewal & modification agreement following publication of the required notice.
