Crofton is hosting the first all-candidates meeting for North Cowichan council hopefuls.
The meeting will take place Monday, Oct. 1 from 6:30-9 p.m. at the Crofton Community Centre, 8104 Robert St., across from the Crofton Fire Hall.
“An invitation has been sent out to the candidates and hopefully all will be there,” noted organizer Dan Robin.
The event will be moderated.
There will be an informal meet and greet from 6:30-7 p.m. The forum commences at 7 p.m.
A second all-candidates meeting in the region takes place Tuesday, Oct. 9 at Chemainus Secondary School.
Residents of Cowichan Valley Regional District can hear from Area G (Saltair/Gulf Islands) director candidates Thursday, Oct. 4 at the Saltair Community Centre.
