No logic to spending money on old school

Democratic right not heard in Saltair

Regarding the old Mount Brenton School, with over 600 signatures on the petition to stop any further money being spent on this (community centre) and yet the CVRD Board approves spending over $150,000 to fix the roof and it was deemed an emergency!

It’s crazy how they just arbitrarily spend our tax dollars without giving any thoughts of the community’s wishes. I am very disappointed that our democratic right was not heard.
