Usually by the end of February and into early March, snow is the last thing on people’s minds on the Island.

But relentless snow this year is turning the seasons upside down, with spring now seeming like a long way off.

A heavy snowfall Saturday night was followed by a beautiful sunny Sunday, but then it was right back to snow again by late Monday morning and into the afternoon.

The forecast for the rest of the week is not dismissing the chances of more snow, either.
