Chemainus Secondary School graduates with big plans for the future are off to a great start with support from a generous community.

A total of $58,950 in scholarships and bursaries was awarded to members of the 2022 graduating class during Friday night’s ceremony at Chemainus Secondary School.

Combined with external scholarships, including an award of up to $40,000 to Samantha Phelps from Beedie Luminaries, that brings the grand total for the class to $100,750 for post-secondary educational opportunities.
