The offices of the Chemainus Visitor Centre and the Chemainus & District Chamber of Commerce are now closed.
“We are, however, working remotely to assist businesses and tourists,” noted Chamber of Commerce executive director Lori Frankson.
Matters are being addressed through email at chamber@chemainus.bc.ca and visitorcentre@chemainus.bc.ca. Contact can also be made through the Chemainus Chamber of Commerce and Chemainus Visitor Centre Facebook pages or on Instagram for the Chamber at chemainusdistrictchamber and at chemainusvisitorcentre for the Visitor Centre.
In addition, information will be listed on the Chamber website at https://www.chemainus.bc.ca/
“I continue to connect with the local businesses for support and we continue to provide our visitors with important travel information,” Frankson indicated. “I have been calling around to the local membership to inform them of up-to-date information to government mandates and support.”
Meanwhile, Visitor Centre Manager Emily Weeks has been keeping an updated list of information pertaining to business around town.
“Things are changing by the minute with businesses,” she conceded.
