The long wait to find out whodunnit is drawing closer to a conclusion.

All will be revealed during performances of Dawn Adams’ latest murder mystery dinner theatre hit Sept. 22 through 24.

The Roaring ’20s theme show takes place at the St. Michael’s Church Hall in Chemainus. Tickets are $35 apiece, available at the 49th Parallel General Store and Rainforest Arts.

The Sunday, Sept. 24 matinee is already sold out, but tickets are still available for the other two shows on Friday, Sept. 22 and Saturday, Sept. 23. Cocktails are at 5 p.m., followed by a deluxe buffet by GB Catering at 6 p.m. and the show at 7.

The cast of characters Adams has assembled for this murder mystery mayhem is amazing. She even has a magician within the group, Darren Charles, to mesmerize with his slight of hand.

Members of the group are all putting their unique touches to their characters during regular rehearsals at St. Michael’s.

It promises to be a show people will be talking about for a long time.

Adams said this is about the fourth murder mystery style show the group has staged and each one is different.

Active audience participation ensures there’s a few unique twists while people are kept on the edge of their seats.

The story is based in the 1920s. Gangsters have taken over the city and the women are showing the spoils with a wide array of diamonds.

Babydoll Lolla’s Speakeasy forms the backdrop for the evening, with cheap gin and dazzling entertainment.

While Lolla’s right-hand man, Three Fingered Freddy, and his assistant Strong Arm Sam try to keep revellers under control, a dead body turns up and the intrigue begins. There’s plenty of plot turns with a long list of suspects to choose from.
