THURSDAY, JAN. 19

Textile Circle: For knitters, crocheters, spinners, etc. to craft together, 10 a.m.-noon, Chemainus Library, 9796 Willow St.

Easy Fit: Instructed by Jill Amy, class will take you slowly and safely back into a gentle fitness routine after being less active during the pandemic, improve your ability to move with easy mobility, balance and strengthening exercises, modifications given for limitations, can be done sitting or standing, everyone welcome, wear comfortable clothing, bring your own Theraband or one can be purchased at class for $2, classes cost $2, 12:30-1:30 p.m., downstairs at the Chemainus 55+ Activity Centre, 9824 Willow St., Chemainus.

FRIDAY, JAN. 20

Meat draw: 4-7 p.m., Chemainus Legion 191 Hall Lounge, 9775 Chemainus Rd.

Bingo: Doors open at 4 p.m., games start at 6:30 p.m., Chemainus Legion 191 Hall, 9775 Chemainus Rd.

Live music: The Grinning Barretts, Celtic sounds mashed up with punk rock create a wild ride of traditionals, originals and additionals, 7:30-10 p.m., Riot Brewing Co., 101A-3055 Oak St., Chemainus.

SATURDAY, JAN. 21

Chemainus Rotary Club bottle drop: Refundables accepted to support local programs and charitable causes, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Rotary bunker, Chemainus Road (across from Subway).

SUNDAY, JAN. 22

Yoga classes: All levels welcome, by donation with 10 per cent going to local charities, 4:30-5:30 p.m., Saltair Community Centre, 3850 South Oyster School Rd., Saltair.

MONDAY, JAN. 23

Sit And Be Fit: Instructed by Jill Amy, chair exercises can improve your health and well-being, you will increase movement while keeping pressure off your joints, perfect for anyone with arthritis, fibromyalgia or any other mobility limitations, class starts with a warm up, some strength exercises and finishes with a stretch, everyone welcome, wear comfortable clothing, bring your own Theraband or one can be purchased at class for $2, classes cost $2, 10:45-11:30 a.m., upstairs at the Chemainus 55+ Activity Centre, 9824 Willow St., Chemainus.
