Buckle up. The Fuller Lake Skating Club is taking the audience on a cross-Canada road trip during its skating show on Saturday, March 24 at Fuller Lake Arena.

“It starts off on the Trans Canada Highway and travels from New Brunswick and ends up at the Fuller Lake Arena which just happens to be celebrating its 50th birthday,” noted Fuller Lake skating coach Shannon McKinlay.

“As we reach each province, we drive through the Tim Hortons Drive Thru. We order different Canadian treats in each province.”

“Be sure to see which local face is working in our drive thru,” hinted McKinlay.

The Fuller Lake skating shows under McKinlay’s direction are amazingly well-choreographed and highly-entertaining.

There are 90 skaters in the show this year, including figure skaters, power skaters and Canskaters.

Showtimes are 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 and little ones can sit on a parent’s knee.

The shows are expected to sell out due to limited seating so people are advised to get tickets early by calling Luisa Shillingford at 250-245-1415.

Skating shows are held every two years by the club. The last production in 2016 was Ella On Ice, a fabulous renditon of the classic tale of Cinderella.
