Every year the students at Chemainus Secondary School produce great work pertaining to Remembrance Day.
They do black and white posters, colour posters and essays for the Legion Youth Remembrance Contest sponsored by the Royal Canadian Legion through Chemainus Legion Branch 191.
We are pleased to share some of the student work that’s been completed so far, as they continued to work up to the deadline of Nov. 10.
Graeme Arkell, who coordinates the contest entries for the school, was hopeful of strong participation this year.
“One good sign is that several students have asked for entry forms,” he noted.
