There’s still a lot of summer left, as the calendar flips over to August from July.

Brittany Pickard-Brown of Re/Max Ocean Pointe Realty in Chemainus has compiled a list on her Facebook page of the top five fun, free and kid-friendly activities to do in Chemainus.

And here they are:

1) Kinsmen Beach Park

2) Askew Creek Park

3) GeoCaching

4) The murals

5) Fuller Lake Park

You can check out a video dated June 26 on her Facebook page for a more detailed account of each site and related activities.

Pickard-Brown is a gal around town, volunteering her time at many community events and she also writes an occasional column in the Courier.
