Chemainus Secondary School 2022 graduates became instant celebrities around town Saturday afternoon.

The grad prom parade returned after a two-year absence due to COVID and the community turned out in droves to greet and cheer the Class of 2022 and their invited guests for a prom and red carpet walk that followed.

The weather cooperated just enough so no one got soaked while enjoying the festivities.

Much more to come with red carpet photos on Monday.
