The Crofton Pool is a great place for a little cooling-off period during the summer.

Especially with other swim locations such as Fuller Lake Park being closed due to high bacterial counts from the extended hot weather, the Crofton Pool is a nice alternative.

The pool is open Tuesday through Saturday (closed on Sundays and Mondays).

The maximum capacity for now is 20 persons.

Everyone welcome swims are from noon-1 p.m., 1:15-2:15 p.m., 3-4 p.m. and 4:15-5:15 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays; 10:30 a.m.-noon Wednesdays and Fridays; and 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m., 1-2 p.m., 2:45-3:45 p.m. and 4:15-5:15 p.m. Saturdays.

There’s also rental time available on Saturdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Length swimming is available Wednesdays and Fridays from 9-10 a.m.

Parent and tot sessions are from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tots are considered four years of age and younger.

See the complete schedule for more information.

The pool is open until Aug. 21.
