Cards are an especially nice way for people to express their caring thoughts for others during the holiday season.

The Chemainus Health Care Centre held a Cards for Seniors campaign. A total of 291 handmade cards from Crafty Capers customers was collected and more than 100 handmade cards from the kindergarten class at Ecole Cobble Hill.

“We had cards to give to the residents of Cairnsmore Place in Duncan, Dufferin Place in Nanaimo and Chemainus Health Care Centre,” noted the Chemainus Health Care Centre’s Darlene MacDonald.
