The Chemainus Health Care Auxiliary is getting caught up on those donation photo opportunities that didn’t happen during COVID.

The auxiliary presented a cheque for $50,000 to the BC Cancer Foundation during April at the Thrift store.

The donation will go towards an attachment to the PSMA-PET machine in Victoria, providing 800 more prostate scans per year.

Accepting the cheque from Auxiliary president Donna McCasky on behalf of the BC Cancer Foundation was Jordan McClymont.
