Municipality wasting taxpayers’ money with new signs

Did the previous ‘No Overnight Parking’ signs get thrown out?

So someone please enlighten me. The municipality had so-called made a decision on getting these trailers and people camping on Croft Street, not just because bylaws are being broken but there is a severe heath risk with these people and their sewage and being an eyesore to the people and businesses of Chemainus, so the municipality said it’s going to deal with this.

When, next year? They said they were going to put up signage not allowing more than four hours. Well, they did have no overnight parking signs that they took down some time ago. What did they do, throw those signs out?

So once again they are wasting taxpayers’ money to make new signs and the cost to put them up. This municipality is unbelievable, they sure don’t care about the taxpayers and utter waste of tax dollars.

It’s pretty bad when you e-mail counsellors and don’t even get a response back. Maybe the taxpayers should band together and refuse to pay taxes until the municipality cleans up its act, which is total garbage.
