With sadness the family of Lorne Godkin announce his passing on February 22, 2024.
Survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Lorna and his only living sibling, youngest sister Margaret Kozar. Also survived by children: daughter Wanda (Danny) & Nicole (Jordan & Savannah) & Matthew, Son Tim & Jamie.
Stepchildren: John (Ali, Tyrell & Brook), Dan (Lisa), Josh, Mark, Cody, Hailey, Ryan & Andrea) & Tammy (Jason), Riley, Hannah) and nine great grandchildren.
Dad served in the 2nd World War, losing one brother there. He returned home where he worked as a logger, tinsmith, cowboy, a fine builder & an amazing gardener. He loved his trips to Reno, gambling, fishing & golfing.
He was a man who worked hard, accepting how things were and enjoying the moment. He always enjoyed a glass of wine, a good game of crib and a story with family and friends. He always said, "life was beautiful". Well Dad, you were beautiful. Rest in peace. We love you.
