Many years ago, I watched Martin Mars water bombers load water from the lake in Lake Cowichan.
Amazing amount of water they hold! Since that time, I have often thought, why they haven’t built a fleet of them.
Of course, cost would be number one. But the cost of all the destroyed homes, buildings, cars, trucks, etc. would add up to billions of dollars.
We, of course, did not expect what is happening now. The cost of insurance for homes, up.
