One has to ask North Cowichan how a campground could have been approved for development, on ALR land, all those years ago, when MNC knew the status of that land before development was approved.
Is it not time for an investigation into the root cause of this debacle? The present owners of the property, in good faith, developed the land with MNC approval, and now the owners find themselves holding the bag for a situation that they did not cause but was dropped on them by governmental bureaucrats.
