Fuller Lake Skating Club members showcase their talents in seasonal pop concert

Fuller Lake Skating Club members put their talents on display during the annual Spring Fling pop concert Friday at Fuller Lake Arena.

It was the wrap-up to another successful season for the club on home ice.

Some skaters now move on to spring ice in Lake Cowichan and Duncan, with one more test day and a couple of competitions left to put the finishing touches to the season.

The Spring Fling featured performances by senior soloists Olivia Stuart, Amanda Nagy, Sophie Dawe, Julia Hussey, Isabel Anderson and Lucy Street. Intermediate soloists included: Jasmine Taylor, Hannah Wilson, Daisy Troise, Daphne Anderson, Leah Brown and Mica Torres Hernandez.

The CanSkate group of Ruby Berends, Cruz Emerson, Isla Fink, Kane Hart, Malia Hart, Helena Kilvert, Brooklyn Mrus, Carter Pearson, Cooper Smith, Eli Torres Hernandez, Liam Troise, Caitlin Varcoe and Chloe Wilson performed The Bare Necessities with assistance from senior skaters.

The Power Skating Group performed a demonstration. They included: Griffin Brooks, Oliver Brooks, Angus Donovan and Rylee Wing.

Intermediate and senior group members concluded the proceedings with Can’t Stop The Feeling!
