It’s never too late for awards.

Fuller Lake Skating Club members always look forward to their annual awards ceremony, but the original event slated for April had to be postponed due to COVID-19. The long-awaited ceremony finally happened at Transfer Beach in Ladysmith Sunday, Aug. 16 with COVID protocols in place to maintain social distancing.

The awards were also done in smaller groups to keep the numbers low.

Everyone enjoyed getting together even under the different circumstances to recognize all the hard work the skaters did during the 2019-20 season. With the season cut short, it left everyone with a sense of relief and closure, at least.
