Chemainus residents and Duncan Christian School alumni Doug and Danielle Groenendijk have earned Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Academic All-Canadian awards.
The volleyball siblings, who now play for Vancouver Island University teams, were among those cited for the CCAA’s most prestigious student-athlete honour, epitomizing a commitment to academic success and athletic achievement.
This year, 174 student-athletes were named as award recipients.
