There won’t be any game action this summer for the Chemainus & District Baseball Association.
“Like the majority of associations in B.C., we have cancelled our season,” noted Jim Jaggers, vice president of the association. “The current return to play guidelines would’ve made it too difficult to get kids on the field.”
You can’t make up for the lost time, but there’s always a chance of still being able to offer something in the months ahead depending on health and safety restrictions.
“We hope that we can try to run a fall ball program in September,” Jaggers indicated.
