‘Tis the season for hockey and Fuller Lake Arena is going to be a busy place after Christmas and into the New Year.

Holiday hockey is in abundance again, beginning with a Novice cross-ice tournament Dec. 27-28.

Dual games take place Dec. 27 at 7:30 a.m., 8:30, 9:30, 10:50, 11:50, 12:50 p.m., 2:15, 3:15, 4:15 and 5:30. Scheduled starts on Dec. 28 are: 7:30 a.m., 8:30, 9:30, 10:50 and 11:50.

The next two days, Dec. 29-30, features Atom C tournament action.

The new year begins in fine style with an Atom female tournament, split between Fuller Lake and the Island Savings Centre Arena in Duncan from Jan. 2-5, 2019.

Overlapping that event is a Peewee female tournament Jan. 3-4, also at both venues.

Bantam female competition runs Jan. 4-6, again occupying both sites.

Things keep rolling with a Bantam C tournament Jan. 5 and 6 at Fuller Lake and the afternoon of Jan. 6 at Island Savings Centre, with eight teams taking part. It’s being combined with the Buddy Check for Jesse program for awareness of mental health.
