I wish to acknowledge the excellent work and speedy service from the operations department of the District of North Cowichan.
On Monday, April 26, I sent an email letter to the department – as well as Mayor Siebring and Councillor Marsh – advising them of the deplorable condition of the parking area for Askew Creek Park which is also a transit stop and a Canada Post mailbox parking area for local residents.
The next morning, Tuesday April 27, a municipal crew was on site with gravel fill and equipment to grade the whole parking area.
Well done, North Cowichan. Thank you on behalf of all the users of this area.
