Seniors not a sub-species

Talented and experienced workforce overlooked

We affirm that seniors are not a sub-species; we are just as actively involved in every part of our community as any other age group. Certainly, our needs and priorities have changed throughout our lives, but our hopes and challenges remain the same. We face life – one day at a time.

The supply shortage of staff across all sectors on Vancouver Island is now at an all-time critical low point.

However, there is a huge pool of talented, experienced work force that is largely overlooked and underutilized waiting to bridge this need – the 55-plus workforce.

There are thousands in this sector looking for employment with so much knowledge and stability to offer.

Seniors 101 would like to actively support and encourage potential employers and employees to connect via our Employment & Volunteers section – https://seniors101.ca/employment

There is no charge for this, contact us via seniors101@shaw.ca with your needs and we will post them immediately.
