Revealing positive tests by health region good enough

No one would want their personal contractions of the virus made public

In reply to Ian McFarland, April 2nd edition of The Courier:

First of all, Mr. McFarland, would you like the community to know if you contracted the COVID-19 (virus)?

Yes, the Ministry of Health has a rule that they do not give out names. They do say what health region the COVID-19 is in, though.

You should never be “too less worried about the virus” as you do not know who has it or who has been exposed to it. That is why, all the time, you and others should be following all the rules all of the time!

Be safe and take care.

I. Brand,
