You are so lucky to have caring neighbours. I am an 86-year-old widow and have lived on the same street in Chemainus for 15 years. Luckily, I am still very active, but this last snowfall was too much, especially the snowplough dump at the end of my short driveway.
Not one neighbour offered to help.
My driveway was the only one on the street not cleared for over a week, so obvious, yet still no help. Cancelled booster shot, cancelled hospital appointment.
After two or three days of rain I was able to do it myself.
