Santa wishes to thank all the wonderful people who visited him at his temporary home on Severne Street in Chemainus.

Kids of all ages came from as far north as Bowser and south from Victoria, Sooke and Langford. Cards and emails arrived from the mainland.

Upon his return to the North Pole, Operation Christmas entered its final stage. Naughty and Nice lists rechecked – some girls and boys who tried extra hard moved to the Nice list.

Worldwide airspace has been guaranteed by NORAD and they will be tracking the flight. The elves have ensured the sleigh and all the harness is in tip top condition. The reindeer are all well and stuffing their faces with high protein energy bars in preparation for their strenuous journey.

Santa requests that children are asleep in bed early on Christmas Eve so he won’t be delayed with his deliveries.

Santa and Mrs. Claus wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and as our favourite Doctor Bonnie Henry says Be Kind, Be Calm and Be Safe.

HO! HO! HO!

Santa Claus,

Severne Street (temporary residence),

Chemainus
