LNG allowed to proceed because it makes financial sense

In regards to Catherine’s comments she says British Columbians voted for change in the last B.C. provincial election. How so?
The B.C. Liberals elected 43 MLAs, the NDP 41 MLAs, and the B.C. Greens, three MLAs. British Columbians did not vote for change. The B.C. Liberals won the provincial election, in a minority status. The reason why we have a NDP minority government today is because of the three Green MLAs forming a alliance with the B.C. NDP.
Catherine says that she is disappointed with the NDP allowing for LNG to proceed. The reason the NDP allowed for LNG to proceed is that it will produce 10,000 construction jobs lasting five years. On completion of the project there would be 950 permanent jobs. Revenue wise, B.C. taxpayers would receive via their provincial government $23 billion over 40 years, deposited into the government bank accounts. This kind of revenue could be put to good use for the taxpayers of B.C. and maybe also put a end to the B.C. seven per cent sales tax. I am sure Catherine, for one, would enjoy not paying the B.C. sales tax anymore. Unbelievable!
