I would like to thank all the people who have kept their outside Christmas lights on – particularly the five properties at the corner of Severne and Seaview Streets.
I am often out on my mobility scooter after dark and it is such a pleasure to see these brightly lit properties at this time of year. I note there are a number of people walking around with friends and dogs later in the evening and I am sure they appreciate the lights, too.
I am keeping my balcony lit up until the evenings get longer. With our rather dull rainy days it helps to lift our spirits. Cheers everyone.
