Enough is enough! Has common sense gone out the door?
Why? Numerous letters are being written requesting that a pedestrian overpass must be built by the new Duncan high school. Total nonsense.
Why? On a previous vacation, I stayed at a hotel in Salmon Arm, B.C., located on the four-lane Trans-Canada Highway. What surprised me outside by the highway was a pedestrian tunnel underpass.
Forget the pedestrian overpass and build a pedestrian tunnel underpass by the high school.
The tunnel would be open during school hours and then gated and closed on both sides after school hours to avoid any unforeseen circumstances.
Unbelievable!
