Letter: The milk of human kindness

I was so stunned that I didn't ask for anybody's names

I was hurrying for a blood test at The Mill Bay LifeLabs when I tripped over the curb and fell like a downed tree.

I was lucky enough to break my fall with my hands and head. I lay there stunned and heard a voice say, "Are you alright, can I help?" I looked up to see a young man who kindly helped me stand up which I couldn't do on my own with my 81-year-old body!

I managed to get into Lifelabs where I dripped blood all over their counter. The staff were magnificent and helped me wash up and dressed my wounds. The lady in a white lab coat went even further and offered to walk me to my car.

I was so stunned that I didn't ask for anybody's names but I hope they see this and are aware of my gratitude for all their help.
