Letter: Thank you Cowichan District Hospital staff

'We knew she was in good hands'
letters

Our family would very much like to thank the staff of the emergency department on Monday Aug. 8. My 96 year old Mom took a fall getting out of the car. To err on the side of caution, we decided to take her to emergency to have her looked at. We were greeted immediately by a lovely nurse who got her BP and took notes. Once in to the unit, a wonderful student nurse, Shakira, greeted us and took down the answers to her troubles.

She was then seen by Dr Lipinski who ordered some things for her and then Shakira and also attending nurse Dean cleaned up my Mom's wounds.

Everyone was lovely and funny and made the stay really relaxing as we knew she was in good hands. From all of our family to the family at emergency at CDH a heartfelt thank you from the Baker family.
