Dear Duncan mayor and council:
During our heartwarming, well-attended Remembrance Day ceremony Nov. 11 we noticed it was difficult for some seniors to reach our cenotaph on foot, in wheelchairs, or using other devices.
Could council arrange a sidewalk dip fronting the cenotaph to allow better access for seniors and challenged folks during such ceremonies?
Reaching our cenotaph means helpers assisting seniors from Canada Avenue, or taking the long way across the rail tracks etc.
