I don’t know why anyone is worried about the way Canadians will take the upcoming tariffs heaped upon them.
Canadians have been accepting paying more for less [since] the Federal Sales Tax was replaced, (except for Alberta).
Do you remember, (Jan. 1, 1991) when the GST was attached to just about everything? All of us settled on giving extra money away because the government told us we must. Imagine if for 35 years you put five per cent of your money into a savings account.
If the Goods and Service Tax was just invented now, GST would be called the Goods and Service Tariff.
