Letter: 2 Cowichan Bay intersections need more light

Two areas in particular are in need of lighting
letters

I, too, lament the lack of lighting and the inherent safety issue in Cowichan Bay.

Two areas in particular, in my case, (perhaps others would agree) are in need of lighting:

1. The intersection of Glen Road and Cowichan Bay Road.

This is a well-used area given all the new construction that's happened in the past five years while I've lived here. I've nearly ended up in the ditch a couple of times as it's almost impossible to see the entrance to Glen at night, especially if I've had to dim my lights for oncoming traffic.
 
2. The even busier intersection of Koksilah and Cowichan Bay Road is another potentially dangerous intersection. It's easy to miss in the pitch dark of winter even for one familiar with the area.
