Beware out there, as another automated call intrudes into your home with a familiar message (and suspicious number on call display).
After a brief delay, “Dear customer, your credit card has been used for purchases on eBay for ………….. ” and on it goes to ‘alert’ you in this fashion.
As if your personal credit card company or financial institution would even attempt to notify you in this manner! Don’t fall for these prompts. Hang up!
These calls have come in the early morning, throughout the day and as late as 10 p.m.
What time zone are these scammers calling from anyway? Anyone else out there being bombarded like this?
