Community hall the ideal project for former St. Joseph’s School

The now vacant St. Joseph’s School site offers us a golden opportunity to have something that we do not have, and we desperately need, a community hall.

Halls across the country are the focal point of communities, large and small, where the residents can meet for any reason at all.

I’m sure most of us at some time in our past have got together in the village hall for many different reasons, including, but not limited to, entertainment, political meetings, general information sessions, Christmas celebrations or just to have a family or group get-together. They become the place where things happen in the community.

That site is the perfect location for our community hall. It’s central, it has great access and parking and it is already there for use now. What more can we ask for?

Our community hall would serve everyone, not just specific interest groups.

Let’s do it. Future generations will thank us for it.
