Comments made on housing project were personal opinions

Not speaking on behalf of the Chemainus Residents Association

Regarding Warren Goulding’s article Lefebure’s housing project draws mixed reviews (Dec. 6 Chemainus Valley Courier and Dec. 7 Cowichan Valley Citizen).

I want to clarify that my comments noted in the article were my own opinions based on my knowledge and concern about the affordable housing crisis in this region.

I was not speaking on behalf of the Chemainus Residents Association.

I regret any confusion my comments may have raised within the Chemainus Residents Association or the community.
