Jim Wakeham (Cowichan Valley Regional District’s manager of facilities and transit) is blowing smoke: “a lot of testing involved to have stops for a 40-foot bus in Chemainus.” (Courier, Feb. 10).
Perhaps a quick word with the touring companies whose buses frequent Chemainus might shed some light.
Or, of course, he might just ask BC Transit about the current BC Transit bus stop at Mill Street and Chemainus Road.
