I was thrilled to read in your paper (Courier, Aug. 2) that Councillor (Joyce) Behnsen is running for Mayor of North Cowichan.

She has proven to be a strong and able administrator.

Her resume convinces me and I hope a lot of voters that she is the right person in the right place at the right time.
