Reverend Victor James Mann

August 14, 1930 - October 18, 2017

Passed away peacefully on October 18, 2017 while at the Sidney Care Home in Sidney, BC.

Victor is predeceased his lovely wife Josephine, brother Matthew and survived by his sister Margaret and brother Edward. 

Victor was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on August 14, 1930. At an early age, the family moved to Winnipeg where Victor graduated from St. Paul's high School.

In his early years, he worked at an auto service station and later as a brakeman for the Canadian Pacific Railway in Edmonton. He returned to Winnipeg and entered an apprenticeship with Parsons Plumbing and Heating and eventually becoming a master plumber. 

Victor obtained a professional teaching certificate and was a training coordinator for the several vocational trades. He was a life member of The United Association Local 254 in Winnipeg.

Victor was ordained to priesthood in 1976 and became an Anglican reverend.  He served in various communities in Manitoba and on Vancouver Island, BC.  Victor was a member of the Eagles chapter in  Crofton/ Chemainus, BC.

A service will be held at St Michael & All Angels Anglican Church at 2858 Mill St., Chemainus, BC on November 18, 2017 at 11:00 am followed by a reception.

In place of flowers donations may be given to the charity of your choice.
