Ida Caroline Wickham (nee Proteau) was born May 10, 1931 in Chemainus and passed away there November 18, 2019.
Predeceased by husband Dan, she leaves behind her 4 children, Dan (Maryanne), Dayle (Steve), Casey (Mary-Anne) Lori (Dave) brother Earl Proteau, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Ida said, "I've lived a good life!" She had lots of fun and lots of laughs during her illustrious golf career. She was an avid Bridge player, a great cook and a dedicated mom, grandma and great grandma. She loved her family. She and dad had many happy memories boating, camping and traveling. They both loved their time at their special spot on Thetis Island. Special thanks to Ian and Islay Brand, Dr Paul Manhas, Ladysmith Home Care Support, and the Palliative team at Chemainus Health Care Centre.
In lieu of flowers, a charitable donation in memory of mom would be appreciated. A private Family Celebration will follow at a later date.
