Esme Noreen Cossey (Macro)

May 2, 1934 - February 21, 2021
We regret to announce the passing of Esme on February 21, 2021. She was born in New Westminster, BC on May 02, 1934, and she and her older sister, Beverly, grew up in Powell River, BC.
After Esme graduated, she left Powell River and headed to Victoria where she met the love of her life, Harry. They married in 1956, and together raised 4 children. Esme loved her family and friends.
She had a wonderfully dry sense of humour, she loved to read, and always thought chocolate and coffee could be their own food groups! Esme and Harry enjoyed travelling and they managed to visit many foreign ports and exotic locations.
She loved her family and was proud of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Esme, predeceased by Harry (December 06, 2016) is survived by her children Ken (Annie), Jim, Lynda (Don), David (In-Suk); her 9 grandchildren Christopher (Christine), Danielle (Chris), Randy, Katherine, Matthew, John, Jasmine, Denby, and Sarah; and her great-grandchildren Andrea and Joshua.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Esme Cossey on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Chemainus Legion from 2-4pm.
